Fifth-grade North Penn students continue their March Madness tournaments today

1. As part of March Madness, fifth-graders from North Penn schools will participate in a basketball tournament this month. Nash will face off against Gwynedd Square at 4:05 p.m. at , 1610 Allentown Road, Towamencin. Bridle Path will face off against Gwyn-Nor at 4 p.m. at Gwyn-Nor Elementary, 139 Hancock Road, Montgomery Township.

2. Denis O’Brien, CEO of Peco, will visit the fifth-grade classroom of Kim Kesack and the sixth-grade classroom of Julie Szuchan at Gwyn-Nor Elementary from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. to discuss “going green.” Kesack and Szuchan are representatives of Gwyn-Nor’s Green Team.

3. Norristown Weed and Seed Steering Committee announces a $27,000 grant today from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency at the at 11 a.m.
