Five Things to Know Today: May 7

North Montco Technical Career Center holds an Arrive Alive tour from 8:10 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. and from 12:10 p.m. to 2:10 p.m. Unite International will be at the school with distracted driving simulators for students to try. The program is to educate about the dangers of drinking or texting while driving.

3. Get some at Math Mondays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Lansdale Library.

5. Route 202 Parkway travel restrictions begin this week.

• In Upper Gwynedd, Lower Gwynedd and Montgomery townships, drivers will face slowdowns and lane restrictions on Route 202 between Swedesford Road and Route 63, and on Route 63 between Stump Road and North Wales Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Intermittent lane closures may also occur on Route 202 between Route 309 and Route 611 in Montgomery Township from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for traffic signal work.
