Congrats to the many North Penn High School accolades taking place today

1. art teacher and department chair Joanne Harris has been selected as a 2012 Voices of Inspiration Award for Teaching Excellence finalist. Harris will attend the Sixth Annual Voices of Inspiration Awards Banquet tonight at the Philadelphia Marriott West in Conshohocken. Harris is in the running to be one of three award winners to receive a $500 grand prize. Congratulations to Joanne from Montgomeryville-Lansdale Patch!
2. Nathan Hegel, Alexandra Simon and Derek Viscusi, along with North Penn High School communications teacher Kyle Berger, will head to Harrisburg today to record their winning PennDOT District 6 Public Service Announcement and receive award certificates. Congrats to the trio and Mr. Berger on a job well done!
3. The Lansdale Business Association holds its general meeting at 8 a.m. at Lansdale Borough Hall.

5. will induct the newest members into the National Junior Honor Society today at 2 p.m. in the gymnasium. Dr. Judith Caviston, principal of Mount St. Joseph’s Academy, will be the guest speaker.
