Free Cancer Screenings Coming to North Wales and Hatfield This April

Montgomery County residents will have the opportunity to receive free cancer screenings this April as the Philip Jaisohn Memorial Foundation (Jaisohn Center) partners with the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jefferson to host three mobile screening clinics.

The screenings will be provided through Jefferson’s Mobile Cancer Screening Unit and will offer free prostate and mammogram screenings for both uninsured and insured residents.

The initiative is part of the Jaisohn Center’s ongoing efforts to expand access to preventive care and promote early detection. Cancer remains one of the leading causes of death in Pennsylvania, and routine screenings play a critical role in identifying concerns early—when treatment is most effective.

The Jaisohn Center also acknowledged the continued support of the Montgomery County Office of Public Health, whose support of our Community Health Workers Program helps connect residents with outreach, education, and care coordination.
