Free Couch

Daily Gratitude

Sunday, April 12, 2015

Today’s blog is from Mary’s couch and I am grateful she is giving me the chance to plead my case. I am available FREE to a good home. We have had a good run, but I am ready to move on and they are ready to move me along. No one stays awake when they sit in me. Is that my fault? Even grandkids cork right off when they tuck in with a book because I am squishy and wonderful.

And just cuz they got old and got back problems and knee problems and fatter bottoms and sciatica and they can’t get out of me anymore, they shouldn’t blame me! I am as comfy and cozy as I always was, if a little more so for the wear. I can’t listen to them groaning and moaning about how much lower I seem now that they are older, anymore!

I am eight feet, six inches long, (8’6”)with brown, durable fabric and loose back and bottom cushions. I am free for the hauling to an appreciative home. If no one wants me I’m going to the Impact Thrift Store, but have you seen that place? It’s so impersonal and dusty!

Please private message Mary Mooney on Facebook or the blog at http://heartprintsdotcom.wordpress.com/ and give me a new home. You won’t be sorry! Especially at nappy time. And I will be very grateful!
