Fundraiser Seeks Life-Saving Donations For Young Lansdale Woman With Cancer
Former Temple Med student Vanessa O'Rourke, 28, was recently diagnosed with brain cancer.

Lansdale, PA -- A fundraiser is being held for a local woman diagnosed with brain cancer.
Vanessa O'Rourke, 28, described by friends as a "Ray of sunshine," was studying at Temple Med to become a brain surgeon when she was diagnosed.
The fundraiser notes that she has been through all available treatments in the United States, and she must go to Australia for a new type of treatment. The first round of treatment successfully targeted her tumor, and now she needs to pay for round two.
