In today’s world, it’s important to have your resume created, updated, and ready to send out at a moment's notice.  This is not our parent’s job market anymore.  Very rarely are people in the same job or same company for twenty plus years, and very rarely are people afforded the ability to remain with the same company for ten, fifteen, twenty years.
