Harleysville's Historic Mainland Inn Offering An Easter Farm Feast

The historic inn in Harleysville will have a three-course fixed price menu for Easter Sunday.

HARLEYSVILLE, PA -- Mainland Inn, the historic inn in Harleysville will have a three-course fixed price menu for Easter Sunday.

The brunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will cost $50 for adults and $20 for children.

"Appetizers include Rosey Hosey's Polish Pierogies with broccoli and confit onions; a Kale Caesar with focaccia croutons and parmesan; Celery Root Soup with apple espuma and blue crab ($1 supplement); Cornmeal Encrusted Calamari with Meyer lemon aioli ($3 supplement); Roasted Onion Soup with bread jawns and parmesan; Roasted Asparagus Salad with Meyer lemon vinaigrette; Shaved Prosciutto with parmesan bread and goat cheese; and Smoked Salmon with corn bread, granny smith apples and horseradish. There are also three supplements, including East Coast Oysters with cucumber line mignonette ($3.50 apiece); Local Cheese Board ($16); and a House-Made Cured Meat Board ($16). Entree options include Lamb Meatballs with ricotta agnolotti, parmesan, au poivre and brocolli; Butternut Squash Stuffed Pasta with roasted Brussels sprouts and wild mushroom nage; Chicken & Waffles with pepper preserve butter and bourbon maple syrup; Atlantic Salmon with walnut vinaigrette and roasted cauliflower; Roast Halibut with truffle beurre blanc and wild mushrooms; Potato Gnocchi with English peas, fried egg, bacon lardons and hollandaise; Maple Glazed Ham with green beans almondine and Grandma's smashed potatoes; New York Strip Steak with pomme puree, balsamic reduction and wild mushroom ravioli ($10 supplement); and a Mediterranean Lamb Duo with artichokes a la barigoule and Kalamata olive tapenade ($5 supplement). Dessert options include Apple Cobbler with honey chamomile ice cream; a Chocolate Lava Cake with graham cracker and vanilla bean meringue; and a Rhubarb Tart with strawberry jam and crème anglaise."

Mainland reopened in January 2015 after a restoration. The Inn was built in 1710.
