Hatfield Man Assaults Girlfriend For Second Time In 2015: Report

A Hatfield man has been arrested for assaulting his girlfriend for the second time in 2015, according to a report.

Thomas Andrew Kelly IV, 27, of Union Street, allegedly got into an argument with his girlfriend at about 4:30 a.m. on November 15, the report states.

After the argument, the girlfriend heard a loud crash downstairs, and went down to investigate with a loaded firearm, according to The Reporter.

That’s when Kelly attacked her, wrestled the gun from her, and hit her in the lip during a brief struggle, the report states.

Kelly had already been arrested and charged for assaulting the same woman earlier in 2015.
