Hatfield Walmart Launches Free Grocery Pickup

Customers order their groceries online and have their groceries loaded directly into their car.

HATFIELD, PA — The Hatfield Walmart has launched free online-based grocery pickup, they announced Wednesday.

The new service will officially go into effect on Thursday, Oct. 12.

Customers simply order their groceries online, pull into a designated parking spot in the Walmart parking lot, and let a Walmart associate load groceries into their car.

Here's what the company has to say about their new offering:

"This free service comes to Hatfield customers just in time for the holiday season. Imagine not having to get the kids out of the car to pick up supplies for a big family gatherings. Customers simply place their order online, choose their pickup time and pull into a reserved parking space where items are loaded directly into your car by a Walmart associate. Easy, convenient and with more than 40,000 items, plenty of selection."

The new service is part of a full remodel of the store, the company said.
