Temperatures will hit the 60s this weekend, according to the National Weather Service. That’s nearly 20 degrees above average.

A Nor’easter that some forecasters believed could threaten the region in the middle of the week no longer looks like a threat. The storm has moved well offshore, forecasters with the NWS said.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 48. North wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 34. Calm wind.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 51. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the morning.

Wednesday Night: A slight chance of rain after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
