Homicide Investigation Launched After Body Found In Telford Apartment

The victim was a 23-year-old woman, police said in an update Thursday.

TELFORD, PA — The body found in a Telford apartment on Sunday has been identified as a 23-year-old woman, and her death is being investigated as a homicide, authorities said on Thursday afternoon.

Police responded to a 911 call to an apartment on the 100 block of Main Street on the morning of March 15.

The victim, Maria Topol, a resident of Telford, was found by officers when they entered the building.

Circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear. The Bucks County Coroner's Office ruled the "manner of death" a homicide, but no further information was provided.
