What's Open, Closed In Lansdale During Coronavirus Outbreak
Here's a glance at what's remaining open and what's closed in the Lansdale area as coronavirus closures sweep across the region.
LANSDALE, PA — The coronavirus-related closures have led to a drastic change in daily life for many residents and businesses in the Lansdale area.
Gov. Wolf on Sunday ordered all restaurants and bars in Chester, Allegheny, Bucks, Delaware, and Montgomery counties to close their dine-in facilities as of Monday. That order was expanded Monday to include the entire state.

Additionally, all non-essential retail businesses in Montgomery County have been ordered to close. This includes gyms, theaters, malls, salons, entertainment venues, and community centers. That means places like King of Prussia Mall and Montgomery Mall, which defied the initial recommendation and remained open briefly, now have no choice.
Essential retail, like pharmacies, grocery stores, gas stations, and healthcare facilities, will remain open.

One way residents can support local businesses and help defray the cost of an extended closure is by buying gift cards online. This gives businesses which are often operating at the margins immediate cash. When the establishment reopens, you can use the gift card.

Yet even with such community support, there is concern the closures could put some businesses over the edge.
Small business owners are eligible for loans to help protect them during the crisis. The Small Business Administration is disbursing coronavirus-specific disaster relief for qualifying establishments (business owners can learn more here).
Here's a look at how local government, businesses, and organizations are responding, and who is open and closed.
Abington Lansdale Hospital is not allowing visitors except in very specific circumstances, including emergency care and end of life or extreme cases. "These measures may be inconvenient, but they are important steps for keeping our patients and our staff members safe," the hospital said. "The need for these visitor restrictions will be re-evaluated regularly as the COVID-19 situation is constantly shifting, and our responses must shift with it."
Lansdale's borough playgrounds, basketball, and tennis courts are closed until further notice. Trails and open space remain open. Residents are encouraged to follow social distancing protocol and remain six feet away from others.
Borough government is working with minimal staff through March 30. Borough hall is closed to the public. Utility bills should be paid by phone at 1-888-844-8371 or online here.
State liquor stores are closing, but Towamencin Beverage remains open for pickup. They are determining limited hours. You can get curbside or parking lot pickup by texting 267-218-0730.
Round Guys Brewing Company will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday for beer and food takeout and delivery. Call 215-368-2640 and see a menu here.
Blue Dog Pub in Lansdale and in Chalfont is open for takeout from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. They have an extensive menu including vegan and vegetarian options, as well as beer for takeout. Check out their menu here. Call (215) 368-6620.

Small Batch Kitchen's market is open, and is stocked with milk, eggs, bread, to-go meals, and other essentials. The cafe has curbside pickup and delivery available. More here.
Most of Harvest Seasonal Grill's locations, including North Wales, are open for take out and delivery via DoorDash and UberEats. They're also offering 10 percent off gift cards online and in-stores.
Red Cedar Grille on Bethlehem Pike is open for takeout and delivery. "The Red Cedar has been built on love of family and friends, it is with this in mind we say, stay safe, be kind, and look out for each other," the restaurant said in a statement. Well Crafted Beer Co. is offering pick-up right now, and is considering delivery options. Beer pickup will be available beginning at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17. Further details will be posted on their social media channels in the coming days.
Chick-fil-A is open via drive-thru only.
Smokehouse Tavern will be closed for the next 14 days, through March 30.
Rep. Steve Malagari's physical office is closed, but basic services like mail-in ballot applications, other state forms, tax forms, and more are still available. "We can reach out to state agencies and assist with many state related issues on your behalf," Malagari said. "We have already received many questions regarding the recent restrictions and we are referring these questions to the relevant agencies, but please be aware that this is a rapidly developing situation and my staff may not be able to provide immediate answers."
The Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company is closed to public access through March 30.
