How Much Snow Will Lansdale Get This Weekend?

Forecasters are calling for three to five inches of snow overnight Friday into Saturday.

A winter storm is expected to drop between three and five inches of snow on Lansdale overnight Friday into Saturday. The storm will start late enough that there should be no trouble with the evening commute, the National Weather Service said.

According to forecasters, the snow will begin after 9 p.m. Friday, with the bulk of the snow falling after 11 p.m. The snow will change to rain early Saturday morning and about a tenth of an inch of ice is likely.

Throughout the Philadelphia region, forecasts are calling for two to four inches of snow on Friday and an additional one to two inches of snow possible on Saturday.

The storm will be during off-hours, but drivers should “be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities,” the NWS said.

A Hazardous Weather Outlook and Winter Weather Advisory are in place for the region.
