Here's a look at how to get rid of your Christmas tree in Lansdale and the surrounding municipalities. One thing to note: whether you're recycling your tree or leaving it to be picked up by the municipality, be sure to remove all ornaments and tinsel.

Lansdale

Curbside pickup will be held on Jan. 6.

Souderton

The borough will collect trees from curbsides from Jan. 2 to Jan. 31. There will be a Recycling Event at Franconia Township Park's Allentown entrance on Jan. 6 and Jan. 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is organized by Souderton Area High School's S.A.V.E. (Students Against Violating the Earth). Students will unload your trees for you.

Upper Gwynedd

The township will accept trees for recycling through the end of January. Trees should be brought to the paved pool parking lot at 1 Parkside Place in North Wales.
