Age, Height Determined After Human Skull Found In Towamencin
The remains belong to a man who is at least 40 years old, investigators have found.

TOWAMENCIN, PA — Coroners and forensic investigators continue to piece together the identity of the man whose remains were found in a drainage area in Towamencin Township in March.
The skull and other bones discovered belong to a man who is at least 40 years old, investigators have found, and is believed to be around 5 feet, 6 inches tall. Further details on his identity have not yet been confirmed.
6ABC also reports that the man had "healed trauma" on his ribcage. Police originally said there was no immediate evidence of foul play, and they still don't have any clear picture of exactly what happened to the man and why he was in the ditch.

The remains were found on Monday, March 18 near the intersection of Welsh Road and Grist Mill Drive, near Orvilla Road, just before noon. A surveyor doing contracting work near a water retention basin first spotted the human skull, police said.

The 6ABC report adds that it's believed the man's remains were in that location, at the retention basin, for more than a year.
The coroners are working to get the man into national missing persons databases in hopes of there will be a match and his family can be found and notified.
