Indian Valley MS Choir Wins $1,000 In 101.1 Christmas Contest

HARLEYSVILLE, PA — The Indian Valley Middle School choir placed third overall in the 101.1 More FM annual Christmas Contest, earning a $1,000 reward.

The choir advanced to the final round of competition in the K-8 category, finishing behind only eventual winner Samuel Yellin Elementary (Stratford, NJ) and second place Chestnut Ridge (Sewell, NJ).

They advanced with their rendition of the holiday classic "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year."

The grand prize winner of 101.1 More FM's 8th Annual Christmas Choir Competition receives a $5,000 cash prize and an opportunity to perform with The Philly Pops at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Their music is also featured on air throughout the holidays.

The high school division competition will commence next week.
