Do you recognize these two suspects?

Lansdale police are seeking two suspects in relation to the theft of a donation jar from Christian’s Grocery on November 6, they said in a statement early Monday evening.

The suspects, and older woman and younger man, allegedly entered the store on the 100 block of Walnut Street at about 12:45 p.m. on Friday, police said.

The man allegedly distracted the store owner while the female took money from the jar on the check-out counter, according to police.

The pair left the store when the owner said he was going to call the police.

A review of the store’s surveillance footage clearly shows the woman taking money from the jar and putting it in her jacket pocket.

The amount stolen was about $60.00, the owner said.

The male is estimated to be in his early twenties, with glasses, a slim build, and dyed hair.

The woman is in her late forties or fifties, and wore dark sunglasses, a green cap, a black jacket, and carried a dark bag.

Anyone with information on the two suspects or their whereabouts is asked to contact the Lansdale Police Department immediately at (215) 368-1801 or via email crimetips@lansdalepd.org.
