Keystone Opportunity Center Appoints Trish Sneddon to its Board of Directors

Souderton, Pa. Insurance Counselor Joins the Board of Social Services Nonprofit Serving Bucks and Montgomery Counties

Trish Sneddon, CSA, CLTC, of faith-based financial services organization Everence Financial Advisors in Souderton, Pa., joined the Keystone Opportunity Center board of directors for a two-year term.

Sneddon serves on the board’s Development Committee helping to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the Center’s community service programs. Along with the rest of the Center’s board members, she also helps to communicate the organization’s story to bring awareness to the services that the organization provides within the community.

“As a long-time supporter of Keystone Opportunity Center’s Food Bank, I was aware that the need for the Center’s services was growing and I wanted to share my own passion and energy with its board,” said Sneddon. “Now, as a member of the board’s Development Committee, I will be helping to safeguard the Center’s programs so they can continue to flourish with the necessary long-term financial support from our community.”

Sneddon, an Everence employee since 2002, counsels clients who are considering life and long term care insurances, Medicare health plans, travel insurance, annuities and personal disability insurance. Her primary focus is helping seniors understand their Medicare options and make health plan choices that best serve their needs during retirement. Sneddon works closely with residents at six continuing care retirement communities in the Greater Philadelphia area.

A graduate of Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Wash., Sneddon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Care Administration. Thereafter, she spent 10 years working in various areas of health care administration – seven as a nursing home administrator. Sneddon is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and is Certified in Long-Term Care insurance (CLTC). In her spare time, she enjoys sharing the abundance of her garden with those in need and volunteering at the Missionaries of Charity soup kitchen in Norristown, Pa.
