Kids' Valentine's Day 'Food and Fun' Dining Skills Brunch

Yummy food and dining lessons make for an informative yet fun time for kids on this special heart-themed day. Dining know-how for success!

Children (ages 8-15) will enjoy an afternoon of food at a nice restaurant (choice of cheesy eggs and home fries or waffles with whipped cream) while learning about table place settings, identifying utensils and glassware, proper use of napkins, selecting the correct utensils, difficult to eat foods, eating various foods including bread, soup and dessert, behavior at the table, styles of dining: American, Continental and Buffet, entering and exiting, posture and conversation, leaving the table and proper seating. We also discuss all of the rude behaviors we may see when dining while Miss Mistake™ shows us how bad it looks or sounds! We have some giggles while kids act as their own Miss/Mr. Mistake™ so they can feel which behaviors aren’t welcomed. Meal/drink, craft and songs (as time allows), take-home workbook and completion certificate included. Parents can enjoy their own Valentine’s date at the same restaurant in Chalfont, PA. Special fee of $99 per child; regularly $130. Sibling discount. Space is very limited so please reserve by Feb. 1st. Call Lisa at 215-453-1432 or email lisa@YourCharmingChild.com for venue and other information.
