LANSDALE, PA — The 4th of July is just days away, and the schedule for the Lansdale area's big celebrations is here.
North Wales Parade
North Wales will hold their annual community parade and picnic on July 4 at 11 a.m.

The parade will start at Action Karate on Main Street and progress through town.
The picnic will be held in Weingartner Park.

Lansdale Concert
Lansdale's White's Road Park Concert Series will continue Independence Day-style at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
Alyssa Garcia, a 17-year-old indie and pop singer-songwriter and pianist, will take the stage first, and will play until 6:45 p.m.
She'll be followed by Main Street Cruisers, a rock and roll, Easton-based band, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Reading of the Declaration
Peter Wentz Farmstead will host a formal Reading of the Declaration of Independence on Sunday, July 6.
Families, children, and adults of all ages are welcome at the event.
It will be held at 2 p.m. The farmstead is located at 2030 Shearer Road in Lansdale.
Fireworks Later In The Year
Fireworks will be held in Lansdale on Aug. 23 during Founders Day celebrations.
Meanwhile in Montgomery Township, Community Day fireworks will take place on Sept. 20.
