Lansdale Area Election Day 2019: Candidates, Polling Places, More
Polling locations, hours, and who is on the ballot in Lansdale for Election Day 2019.

LANSDALE, PA — After a long campaign season, Election Day 2019 is finally here in Lansdale. There are a number of races on the ballot in the borough and surrounding area this November, with a few municipal and county office seats to be determined.
Here's what you need to know ahead of Tuesday:

One of the biggest contested races in the Lansdale area is the North Penn School Board. A total of 12 candidates will compete for six seats. There are candidates running for five available four-year terms, and two candidates running for a single open two-year term.

There are several council races with candidates on the ballot in the borough of Lansdale, but the candidates, all Democrats, are running unopposed: BJ Breish in Ward 1, William Henning in Ward 1 (two-year term), Richard DiGregorio in Ward 2, Meg Currie Teoh in Ward 2, and Denton D. Burnell in Ward 3.
In Montgomery Township, there are four candidates running for two township supervisor seats: Democrats Beth Staab and Annette M. Long are running against Republicans Frank Davey and Theresa Tran.
The supervisor race in Towamencin similarly features four candidates for two seats: Democrats Joyce Ferguson Snyder and Peter Murphy against Republicans Laura Smith and Chuck Wilson.
There are also several important county-level races being contested Tuesday.
In the Montgomery County Commissioners race, incumbent Democrats Val Arkoosh and Ken Lawrence Jr. face off against incumbent Republican Joe Gale and challenging Republican Fred Conner. You will cast a vote for two commissioners; three will be elected.

For sheriff, incumbent Democrat Sean Kilkenny is being challenged by Republican Melissa Bowers Palmer.
Other county-level races include:
- Recorder of Deeds - Democrat Jeanne Sorg vs. Republican Vicki J. Lightcap
- Prothonary - Democrat Noah Marlier vs. Republican Nancy Quinn-Marsden
- Coroner - Democrat Michael Milbourne vs. Republican Annamarie Scannapieco
- Register of Wills - Democrat D. Bruce Haines vs. Republican John Trigg
- Controller - Democrat Lori Schreiber vs. Republican Tracy Moss-Carfagno
- Treasurer - Democrat Jason E. Salus vs. Republican Tim Mahon
District Attorney Kevin Steele is running unopposed for re-election.
There are also two judicial races: two seats for Judge of the Superior Court, and three for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas.
