Lansdale Cancels First Friday Celebrations Due To Weather
It's the second event this week that Lansdale has cancelled due to the weather forecast.
Lansdale, PA -- The borough of Lansdale has cancelled First Friday celebrations that were planned on July 1 due to weather, they announced.
Forecasts cite a 60 to 70 percent chance of scattered strong thunderstorms beginning at 6 p.m., according Weather.com.
First Friday is a celebration of food, music, art, and other entertainment outdoors in Lansdale on the first Friday evening of each month.

Similar cancellations were made last year as well.
Lansdale cancelled its Concert in the Park series earlier this week. The concert was rescheduled.
