Lansdale Catholic Students Create 500 Breakfast Bags For Nonprofit

Lansdale students made Martin Luther King Jr. Day count.

LANSDALE, PA -- More than 100 members of the Lansdale Catholic community gave back to the local area in a big way on Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday.

The dedicated group of students, staff, faculty, parents and members of their families celebrated the annual Day of Service in honor of Dr. King.

They assembled more than 500 breakfast bags for a local non-profit group, Aid For Friends.

Aid for Friends will deliver the bags to shut-ins and the elderly living in Northeast Philadelphia.
