
Respects were paid to a longtime teacher at Lansdale Catholic who passed away last week at the age of 51.
Maria Costa-Fusca, who had been in failing health, passed away on Saturday, October 24.
She had been a teacher and a resident of the North Penn area for 14 years, according to her obituary.

Lansdale Catholic released a memorial message on Friday:
Our students, faculty and staff walked down Seventh Street today to pay our respects to our teacher, Mrs. for her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus. May our Patroness St. Therese of the Little Flower continue to keep Maria’s family in her loving care and let them know that the LC community will always be there for them. May eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon her, may her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.

Maria Costa-Fusca of Hilltown Twp. Maria Costa-Fusca, age 51, of Hilltown Twp, died peacefully at Grandview Hospital on Saturday evening, October 24 surrounded by her loving family.
She had been in failing health. Born in Acquaro, VV, Italy, she is the beloved daughter of Vincenzo Costa and Catena Franzesi, also of Acquaro.
She graduated with a Bachelors Degree from the University of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. Maria has lived in the North Penn area for 14 years.
She was a member of the faculty at Lansdale Catholic High School where she taught English and Italian. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her devoted husband of 14 years Francesco Fusca and her dearest sons Alexander and Mark Fusca.
