Gary's investigative work helped capture and prosecute Chong Ling Dan, 50, and Ricky G. Vance, 54, both of Philadelphia. Dan, who previously dated Pack, was abusive towards her after they broke up and eventually paid Vance and a third man, Terrence Marche, to murder her, police said.
Marche fled to Central America and authorities are continuing to search for him.
