Lansdale Grocery Store Robbed at Knifepoint: Police

A man robbed Ilce Grocery on North Broad Street around 6:20 p.m. Sunday, according to reports.

A Lansdale Borough grocery store was robbed at knife point Sunday evening, according to reports.

Lansdale police told The Reporter a Hispanic male robbed Ilce Grocery on North Broad Street around 6:20 p.m.

The man allegedly held a knife up to an employee’s throat and demanded money in Spanish. According to the Reporter, the employee handed over an unspecified amount of cash and the robber fled on foot.

Police have described the suspect as being about 6’2” with a thin build and light brown skin. He was was wearing light blue jeans, a green shirt and black sneakers, police said.
