Lansdale Man 'Fighting For His Life' After Lung Cancer Diagnosis; Family Seeks Help
"As many may already know, this mountain is very tough to climb."

LANSDALE, PA -- The family of a Lansdale man suffering from lung cancer is asking for the community's help as medical expenses climb.
According to a GoFundMe page established by his sister-in-law, Lansdale's Jay Elcheck is fighting for his life.
Elcheck was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer and has not been able to work since the diagnosis.

"He and my sister Stephanie have been trying to handle this as best they can since May of this year, but as many may already know, this mountain is very tough to climb," writes Laurie Paternoster Betz, Elcheck's sister-in-law. "If you can only give a little, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and generosity."
A total of $4,330 has been raised by 49 people in 22 days, as of Tuesday. The goal is $10,000.
