Lansdale Man Found With 9,400 Child Porn Photos Faces Possible 805-Year Sentence

A Lansdale man who this week was convicted of possessing more than 9,400 images of child pornography could face as much as 805 years in prison, according to reports.

Eugene Lynn Heisey, 57, was convicted of 100 felony counts of possession of child pornography and 15 felony counts of criminal use of a communication facility.

Officials said between November 2012 and May 2013, he hoarded 9,484 images of child pornography, according to The Reporter.

Montgomery County authorities told The Reporter it was one of the largest child pornography collections they had ever seized.

Heisey remains free on bail as his sentencing was deferred so authorities could complete a background check, according to The Reporter. However he may have no contact with minors or Internet access, the publication said.
