Lansdale Man Grabbed Woman Outside Wawa, Forcibly Kissed Her: Cops

A Lansdale man has been arrested and charged after grabbing a woman outside of a local Wawa and forcibly kissing her, police said.

LANSDALE, PA — A Lansdale man has been charged after allegedly grabbing a woman in a Wawa parking lot and forcibly kissing her on the mouth, according to the Upper Gwynedd Police Department.

Mazen Salfit, of the 200 block of Cherry Lane, faces charges of indecent assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct in connection with the incident.

The incident occurred on April 12 in the parking lot of the Wawa that is located on 1601 Valley Forge Road, police said.

As the victim, a young woman, exited the Wawa, Salfit grabbed her by the right arm, yanked her close to his car, and began to kiss her "against her will," putting his tongue in her mouth, according to authorities.

Salfiti was recently arrested, arraigned, and then released on $5,000 unsecured bail, police said.
