Lansdale Man Killed in Sunday Car Crash

At least three people were killed Sunday in crashes being attributed to icy, slippery roads. One of the victims was a Lansdale man.

Thomas Michael Brennan of Lansdale was killed in a crash on Interstate 476 near Marple Road in Delaware County, the Inquirer said. The crash shuttered all southbound lanes of the Blue Route for several hours Sunday.

Jason Edward Anderson of Dover, Del. also died in the crash on I-476.

Numerous accidents, including others that were fatal, were reported Sunday.

One person was killed in an accident involving 60 cars that closed Interstate 76 in both directions around 7 a.m. Sunday morning. That accident occurred between exits 337 and 332, NBC10 said, and at least 31 people were injured in the pileup, 6ABC said.

All lanes of the Schuylkill Expressway reopened around 2:15 p.m., 6ABC said.

The Walt Whitman, Betsy Ross and Ben Franklin bridges were all closed at various points Sunday, but had reopened by Sunday evening, the Delaware River Port Authority said.
