Lansdale Man Stole Guns To Finance Heroin Addiction: Report

The father discovered the firearms were missing when he went to get them to hand down to his children.

A Lansdale man was sentenced on Thursday after stealing guns from his father and his neighbor and selling them for money to feed his heroin addiction, according to a report in The Intelligencer.

Steven Cardillo, 53, was sentenced to 11.5 to 23 months in county jail after pleading guilty to felony theft and felony burglary charges, the report states.

Cardillo’s father reported the thefts in December 2014 from the Wade Street house which he shares with his sons and wife, according to the report.

The total value of the six stolen firearms was about $2,600, according to the report.
