Lansdale Man Tried To Carry Loaded Handgun Onto Flight: TSA
The 9mm gun was loaded with 12 bullets, TSA officials said.

LANSDALE, PA — A Lansdale man attempted to bring a loaded handgun onto a flight out of Philadelphia International Airport Monday, federal officials said.
The man, who was not immediately identified by authorities, was caught when he tried to pass through a checkpoint with an X-ray machine.
"We have no issues with people who pack their firearms properly for a flight," Christine Assili, TSA’s Deputy Federal Security Director for the airport, said in a statement. "Bringing a loaded handgun to our checkpoints isn’t the way to do it...it's a fairly simple process."
