Christina DeSilva, 21, is the new executive chef at Taproom on 19th in Philadelphia.

Lansdale native Christina DeSilva is getting regional attention for her new role as executive chef at a Philadelphia pub.

The 21-year-old was recently named executive chef at Taproom on 19th, a restaurant and bar that serves “ local, seasonal farm-to-table inspired upscale pub fare,” according to its website.

In a profile featured on Philly.com, her cooking style was described as “upscale stoner food.”
