
LANSDALE, PA -- The Lansdale police marked an important milestone on April 29 when they swore in their first ever police sergeant.
Adrienne Gori was named Sergeant at a ceremony on Friday.
Mayor Andrew Szekely and Chief Robert McDyre were on hand to present Gori with her Sergeant's badge, police said.

Lansdale police posted a note to their Facebook page congratulating Gori.
"In this narrator's mind, there is no one more deserving of such an honor," the post read. "Great work, Adrienne!"
