LANSDALE, PA — Lansdale Police welcomed in their newest member of the police force last week, as she was sworn in before borough council.
Officer Karly Harney, a Bucks County native, was sworn in by Mayor Gary Herbert.
Harney graduated from Temple University with honors before attneding Montgomery County Police Academy, which she graduated from in June.

"We welcome Officer Harney to Lansdale PD and wish her a long and fruitful career," police shared in a statement.
The Lansdale Police Department has 43 people on staff.
