Lansdale Proposes $51 Million Madison Lot Redevelopment Project

Madison Street would be widened, the Liberty Trail would be improved, and high end apartments and retail would move in.

LANSDALE, PA -- The borough of Lansdale has proposed a $51 million project to redevelop Madison Street.

According to the proposal, Madison Street would be widened, the Liberty Trail would be improved, a public gathering space and police kiosk would be established, and high end apartments and retail would move in.

"All of this gives our downtown the greater promise to be a destination for work and play," the borough said. "This is affirmed by the latest information from the County Comprehensive Planning process that states: “redevelopment and infill is still intensifying; most places are becoming mixed use and…..apartments are hot."
