LANSDALE, PA -- Lansdale residents might be able to expect a $22 check in the mail.

The borough is expecting a rebate on the power it buys wholesale from its contractor, according to a report.

It just signed a contract for the next five years, and thanks to nearly a million dollars in savings, residents are going to be getting a little kickback, WNPV reports.

One borough council member argued for a rate reduction on energy going forward instead of giving back credit, the report states, citing two years ago, when the borough was hit with a significant surcharge during a tough winter.
