We asked Patch Readers what they thought the biggest safety issues were in their town. Here’s a list of the most pressing problems, from break-ins to traffic jams:
- "The continued proliferation of high-density housing. Our roads are not sufficient to keep the current traffic flowing and it's only going to get worse."
- "The slight turn on Sumneytown between the Sunoco and the Old Giant supermarket where nut cases drive 100 mph to beat everybody to the single lane into the borough."
- "Easily driving north on Broad, approaching Main. Absolutely no visibility due to the insanely ugly placement of the biggest eyesore to date, Rite Aid."
- "Being new to the area I have to say the needles I have found laying out in the open on the ground. Anyone could walk on them, not to mention a child picking one up."
- "Intersection of Montgomery Glen Drive and North Wales Road (behind Home Depot). Needs to be a 4-way stop sign."
- "Lansdale Post Office always has such deep potholes! They do a quick fix patch job and they're back again. Just redo the parking lot. Please."
- "Intersection of Knapp Road and Lansdale Avenue."
- "Drugs! Even with all the bars that have closed down it's still there."
- "Any entrance/exit of a Wawa."
- "I think there needs to be a left arrow at the intersection of Main Street and Cannon Avenue."
