Lansdale Scrapyard Thief Steals Catalytic Converters: Cops
A man jumped the fence at a Lansdale scrapyard and headed straight for the catalytic converters, police said.
LANSDALE, PA -- Lansdale police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man who stole catalytic converters from a scrapyard in the borough.
Police announced Friday that the incident occurred on January 12 at about 11:30 p.m.
The male suspect jumped the scrapyard fence and headed straight for the catalytic converters, valued at about $1200 each, police said.

Authorities believe the suspect is familiar with the yard, because the converters were not stored in plain sight.
The suspect is described as having a mustache and wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
