What business are you in?

"Specialists in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics."

How did you come up with the name?

"We did not have a business name until the late 1980's. Prior to that we were just named after the doctors name. We chose the name eventually because it primarily reflected the area in which our patients lived."

Why start a business here?

"We started in 1972. The sales rep from the dental company recommended the Lansdale area because there were no other pediatric dental practices in Lansdale or the surrounding communities."

What has been your most difficult challenge?

"It has varied over the years. Those that come to mind: Health insurance companies making decisions on patient care based on their profits rather than the welfare of their participants. Government regulations meant for large corporations being applied to small businesses (has been challenging as well)."

What has been your proudest achievement since opening?

"The practice has grown over forty-five years so that it now provides jobs for about 35 members of the community."

How do you give back to the community?

"We annually support our local sports teams, United Way, Manna on Main Street. We provide scholarships to North Penn and Souderton High School students. We participate in career nights at local schools, we speak to mom's groups about dental health. We visit many preschools and sponsor field trips to our offices. We also participate in community events such as Towamencin Day, Lansdale Day and many other events."
