Lansdale Teen Wanted For Attempted Murder Arrested: Cops
BREAKING: A 16-year-old Lansdale boy wanted for attempted murder is now in police custody.

LANSDALE, PA -- The Lansdale teen wanted for attempted murder surrendered himself to the Hatfield Township Police Department on Monday afternoon, authorities announced.
The arrest of 16-year-old J'Mel Anthony Duran-Taylor culminates a manhunt that launched in the wake of a shooting on Thursday, Jan 19., police said.
Duran-Taylor allegedly shot a 19-year-old male acquaintance on the 2000 block of Maple Avenue in Hatfield on that night, authorities allege.

The victim was taken to Abington-Lansdale Hospital, where he is still receiving treatment for his injuries.
Police had originally speculated that Duran-Taylor could be hiding in the Harrisburg area.

He has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, attempted robbery and related counts. Bail was set at $750,000 and he was taken to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
A preliminary hearing has been set for Feb. 9.
