Lansdale Tree Farm To Kickoff 'Trees For Troops' Campaign
Lansdale's Bustard's Christmas Trees will launch a campaign this weekend to send trees to American military families around the world.

LANSDALE, PA -- A Lansdale Christmas Tree farm is helping to launch the "Trees for Troops event this coming weekend to help provide trees for military families throughout the United States and overseas.
Bustard's Christmas Trees will host local leaders, statesmen, students, and members of the public beginning on Friday, December 2 at 2:30 p.m. The event will launch the statewide initiative.
Attendees can purchase a tree, and partnering organization FedEx will ship the tree to a domestic or overseas military base. Individuals who are unable to come to Bustard's this weekend can still donate a tree by mailing a check for $35 payable to the Christmas Spirit Foundation. The check should be addressed to 2210 Bustard Road in Lansdale.

A total of 18,633 trees were shipped in 2015. More than 176,000 trees have been shipped since the program launched in 2005.
Bustard is no rookie to the limelight. In 2015, they furnished the White House's Blue Room with a fraser fir.
