Limuli would often have students hang out in her classroom during the day, and would give students food, a criminal complaint states. Police said that Limuli would bake cookies, brownies, and "anything (the victim) requested."

She had sexual contact with the victim in multiple locations at least 10 different times, according to the complaint, including a dog park, the classroom, and the student's home.

The student said Limuli gave him several gifts during their relationship, including a dirt bike, sneakers, clothing, and more than $1000 in cash, police said.

Phone records showed the pair exchanged 262 phone calls between November 2015 and April 17, the criminal complaint states.

Superintendent Deborah Wheeler said that Limuli underwent a background check before she was hired and nothing came up.

"Recognizing the emotional impact this could have on both students and members of our high school faculty and staff, guidance counselors will be available for consultation," Wheeler said in a statement.

Limuli has been a teacher at Upper Dublin for three years. Before that, she taught at Sandy Run Middle School.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Jim Price.
