Lansdale's Founders Day is Saturday

Lansdale’s annual Founders Day event will take place Saturday in Lansdale Borough. There will be plenty of fun for the whole family, including a fireworks show to cap off the night.

The day will feature a variety of public activities, including a model train display, an art show, a family fun and food tasting festival, beer tasting at the library, fireworks and more.

Also, the borough pools will be open for public use. Admission to the event is free. Parking throughout the borough is also free.

8 am: HeartChase Registration, Railroad Plaza

9 - 10:30 am: HeartChase Event, Downtown Lansdale

9 am - 1 pm: Farmers’ Market, Century Plaza Parking Lot

10 am - 4 pm: Festival of the Arts, Memorial Park

10:45 am: Lifetime Achievement Award Presentation, Railroad Plaza

11 am - 3 pm: Open House, Police Station

11 am - 5 pm: Open House andTrain Displays, Fairmount Fire Company

11 am - 6:30 pm: Excursion Trains, Lansdale/Souderton

12 - 7 pm: Pools Open Free of Charge, White’s Road andFourth Street

12 pm: Birthday Cake Presentation, Fairmount Fire Company

12:30 - 2:30 pm: Water Battle, Fairmount Fire Company

1 - 4 pm: PennSuburban Chamber of Commerce Health Expo, Susquehanna Avenue

3 pm: Garden Dedication to Lois Weber, Lansdale Library

4 - 7 pm: Beer Tasting, Lansdale Library

2:30 - 7:30 pm: Family Fun Festival, Century Plaza Parking Lot

9 pm or dark: Fireworks, Penndale Middle School
