Lansdale's Main Street To Shut Down For SEPTA Work In May
The closure will be in place as SEPTA completes repairs to tracks on the Lansdale-Doylestown regional rail line.

LANSDALE, PA — Main Street will be shut down in Lansdale for several days in May as SEPTA completes improvements to the railway.
The closure will be in place between Green Street and Railroad Avenue from 9 a.m. on Friday, May 17 to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 20.
Motorists will be detoured to Broad Street, Cowpath Road, and Orvilla Road.

The impact to the SEPTA Lansdale-Doylestown regional rail line is not yet clear. When SEPTA completed similar repairs on a similar timetable to a rail crossing in Hatfield in April, bus shuttle service replaced the rail line for several days.
Motorists should plan for extra travel time as delays are expected.
