LEARN ABOUT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH RSVP

On June 1 RSVP will be at Generations of Indian Valley in Souderton from 1 to 3 pm. Join us to hear about our various programs. We recently have partnered with the Souderton Area School District to offer volunteer placements promoting literacy in the classroom and mentoring for young people who need positive role models.

RSVP, a nonprofit organization, provides volunteer opportunities to adults in Montgomery, Chester and Delaware counties and throughout the region.  These activities focus on important community needs such as supporting child and adult literacy and helping veterans, the elderly, disadvantaged preschool children and at-risk youth.  RSVP volunteers also assist at museums, historic sites and other nonprofits throughout the Delaware Valley.  RSVP recently moved their administrative office to 901 E. 8th Avenue, Suite 200, King of Prussia.  Staff will continue to be available throughout local communities at Volunteer Link Sites.  Visit www.rsvp.org for a schedule of locations.  RSVP will be hosting an Open House June 15 from 8:30am to 4:30pm.  There will be a volunteer information session at 10 a.m. to introduce the public to the many volunteer opportunities available.  To reserve your spot, call 610-834-1040 ext 123.
