'Let's End Gerrymandering' Event To Be Held In Lansdale
An anti-gerrymandering event, organized by Fair Districts PA, will be held on Tuesday night in Lansdale.
LANSDALE, PA -- A political reform organization, Fair Districts PA, will host an anti-gerrymandering event at Pennsdale Middle School in Lansdale Tuesday night.
The "Let's End Gerrymandering" event will take place at 7:15 p.m.
Gerrymandering is the practice of redrawing Congressional lines in favor of the party in the party in power. The image above shows how gerrymandering has warped Pennsylvania's 7th Congressional District, one of the most unusually shaped districts in the entire nation.
