Towamencin police arrested Gibson in September after an investigation that began in June. The investigation began after the student notified another high school staff member that Gibson had sent her inappropriate social media messages.
According to information published in The Reporter, Gibson’s communications to the student progressed from friendly hellos to inappropriate inquiries about what the student was wearing and requests for her to come to his house. In August 2013, Gibson’s communication to the student became sexual, according to detectives. Photos of him undressing and nude were sent, along with a photo of his penis, according to reports.
