Community Invited To Make Noise Tonight For North Penn Seniors
The community is invited to light porch lamps, honk horns, clang pots, and make noise for the North Penn class of 2020 Thursday evening.
LANSDALE, PA — The community is invited to light porch lamps, honk horns, clang pots, and make noise for the North Penn class of 2020 Thursday evening.
It's part of North Penn's unique graduation programming to honor members of the graduating class in what has become a very nontraditional senior year.
The virtual commencement will be aired on NPTV's YouTube Channel and the NPSD Facebook page, as well as Comcast channel 28 and Verizon channel 29, beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Watch along with students and members of the school community, and then, at around 9:15 p.m., at the time when students are invited to turn their tassels, the "Light the Knight" festivities will begin in the surrounding area.

Neighbors are encouraged to light porch lamps, honk horns, clang pots, and make noise in support of students.
The 1,028 graduating seniors received their diplomas at Crawford Stadium in groups over hte course of a week. Every walk-up was filmed and will be included as part of the televised ceremony Thursday.
In addition, there will be pre-recorded speeches from valedictorian Tony L. Xu; salutatorian Samuel Y. Lee; class president Sufyan Davis-Arrington; and senior select Samantha D. Kendikian.
